Welcome to Naples 
Welcome to Naples, one of the largest and most historic Italian cities, well-renown all over the world, situated in the Campania region. 
It attracts many tourists, students, businessmen from all over the world and all year long so take your time to go through these pages and find out what you need to do to settle down comfortably as an international student living in Italy and what Naples can offer you!
As a foreign student in Naples, you will find many dedicated services, events and discounts and help with the many issues a foreign student may have when moving to Milan.

Reach our University 
Naples has its own international airport. Capodichino Airport (http://www.aeroportodinapoli.it/), located in the North-East of the city, very easy to reach via the Urban Expressway (Tangenziale) that runs West-East just in the Northern outskirts  of Naples.

Reaching the Federico II Medical Campus
The closest underground station is ”POLICLINICO STATION” (MetroNapoli ”yellow-line 1”) See also http://www.anm.it/

From Capodichino Airport 

  • 10-15minutes drive by Taxi. (fare around 20 euros)
  • Bus to the central railway station of Naples ‘Stazione Centrale’ (MetroNapoli ”yellow-line 1”)

Naples Central Station is served by Ferrovie dello Stato and Circumvesuviana

Accommodation

Resident students who win scholarships for the current academic year may get an accommodation.
The place-bed is assigned for eleven months a year except for August. Closures coincide with the holidays established by the University calendar.

Admission in the residences occurs upon subscription of the form that indicates identification and acceptance of the type of the accommodation.
At the moment of allocation, the student receives a kit of bed linen and material for cleaning the room.
All rooms are equipped with:
a bed; a closet; a bedside table; a desk; a chair and / or armchair; a chest of drawers; a shelf; a TV; a telephone; a fridge, Internet connection and weekly linen changing and washing.
The university residences are:
”Antonio Paolella” via Tansillo, 28 – Napoli tel. +39 081.7603.600.
ensures 97 beds in 86 rooms including 75 singles and 11 doubles, 4 of which are reserved for disabled students. This residence is provided with 6 kitchenettes, 1 reserved for disabled students.
The Premises are also equipped with computer room, a conference room, a TV room and reading room for common use, a language laboratory and a washing local for common use.

ensures 112 beds in 104 rooms including 8 doubles and 96 singles, 4 of which are reserved for disabled students.
The residence is equipped with 5 kitchenettes, 1 reserved for disabled students, and is provided with a computer room, a conference room, TV room and reading room of  common use as well as a room for and common use of linen washing.
